We can not refund the deposit paid if you are going to cancel the reservation. We can not refund the entire amount paid in case of cancellation within six weeks. Anyway in such cases we try to have a friendly approach trying to give the opportunity to recover the amount paid according a further reservation during low season periods in Ca' Lisciano or Marsala Apartment in Bologna. We will refund all money paid if something as a result of force majeure or any other occurrence outside our control shall oblige us to cancel our agreement. You will be responsible for informing us of any complaint and allowing us a reasonable opportunity to remedy the problem during the rental period; failure to do so will void any claim following the rental period. Occasional problems to Internet connection or other technical appliances do not constitute an adequate cause for a refund.

Our place is absolutely genuine; pieces of furniture are those of the owner’s family, all the context calls for a standard of living simple and faithful to the local traditions. In our canteens there are still the old vats used for generations. A swimming pool would have represented something excessively de-contextualizing. The sandy beaches of Palm Riviera are only at half an hour by car. Ca’ Lisciano is a place for tourists aiming for contemplation, traditions, culture and silences. Actually Apennine Mountains are particularly risky by this point of you. If you exclude Apulia and Pianura Padana all the rest of Italy is under the threat of an earthquake. If you consider the map of the seismic risk of Italy you will see that few places are reasonably free from this threat. Actually Lisciano is normally classified as “medium risk area” even if relatively close to the area of Gran Sasso, which is one of the most active in our peninsula. There is also another factor: most of the architectonic heritage of the past has not been built with modern technologies, which can prevent serious damages. Ca’ Lisciano doesn’t make exception. Anyway the theoretic risk level of staying in Lisciano, as shown in most of the maps, is the same you have staying in Siena or Florence. In any case we can’t accept any liability in the unforeseen case someone has any type of damage by geological, atmospheric or radiological effects or for causes not directly under our direct control, in the same way as in any other places you can find for rental in Italy.
