Apartment in Florence

We rent this apartment for short tourist stays in Florence. We normally ask for a minimum stay of one week starting from Saturday but we can rent it also for four, five or six days inside a Sat-to-Sat week. The apartment is located on the mezzanine of a building dating from the first decades of the last century, close to the railway station and the city centre, between Porta Prato and the Arno river. It faces a private street, far enough from the traffic to be quiet by night. On the opposite side of the building it faces a private and exclusive garden, a real joy for your spring, summer and early autumn evenings: two steps from the kitchen, it will allow you to have a romantic candlelit dinner under a mimosa tree and enjoy a bottle of good Chianti wine after a daily tour of the Renaissance art world. The apartment offers two bedrooms for two people each, a living-dining room where another one or two people may sleep on a sofa bed, a kitchen, a bathroom and a wide entrance hall. Some pieces of furniture are quite antique and the whole apartment still has old-fashioned household items. Nothing has changed since the first decades of the last century when our beloved uncle Renzo was living in. Obviously we have recently repainted the walls and have taken care of maintenance of installations.
