 | May we contact you by phone? |
|
| We both speak an understandable English, we just require you to speak very slowly, using simple and clear words. Giulia speaks also French
and an understandable German. We ask you to contact us by e-mail: it is the easiest way to correspond at you questions. If you want to speak directly by phone this is possible but not advisable for our first contact or for setting any agreement. Anyway if you want you can ask us our phone numbers. At the time of your stay you will have all the phone numbers necessary to have any type of assistance. |

Which is your refund policy in case of cancellation? |

| We can not refund the deposit paid if you are going to cancel the reservation. We can not refund the entire amount paid in case of cancellation within six weeks. Anyway in such cases we try to have a friendly approach trying to give the opportunity to recover the amount paid according a further reservation during low season periods in any of our rental facilities. We will refund all money paid if something as a result of force majeure or any other occurrence outside our control shall oblige us to cancel our agreement. | ||
Is the swimming pool safe and how can I be sure of the quality of the water? |

All the technological plants of our Trullo della Luna are completely new. When we purchased it in August 2006 we bought a marvellous aggregation of stones in the middle of a beautiful olives grove but there weren't even the basic services for a residential purpose. So we cared to purchase the best automatic devices and instrumentation to maintain end assure the hygienic status of the water and to keep it under control. We cared also safety in case of accidental damages: when non in use there is a motorized sliding cover to close the surface of the water. Anyway all our guests subscribe the terms and regulations we have set to ensure a proper usage of the swimming pool and all the other facilities of the trullo. |

What can you do in case of an emergency? |

| We are not organized to give you a prompt solution in case of emergency and for this reason we strongly recommend to purchase a trip insurance before your arrival. This can also be useful in those cases prohibiting the depart from your home (a classic feared event in every family: the last minute fever of a child). Anyway our guests will be able to link a priviledged section of this site with all important information to know in case of an emergency. | ||
 | How will we reach Trullo della Luna? |

You surely need a car. Trullo della Luna is about two miles from San Michele Salentino, the closest village where you can buy normal stuffs (vegetable, water, meat ...) and find restaurants, post offices etc. A car is also necessary to take the daily excursions we suggest in the "amenities" page. We will give all the detailed instructions to reach the trullo by car from the main starting point of Brindisi airport, or, if you take our car, from the place where we take it parked near the airport. |

 | Is there a telephone in Trullo della Luna? Is there an internet connection? |

| A Mobile Phone and internet connection (through a USB stick: you need your computer) are facilities offered to all the guests in Trullo della Luna. You can give the telephone number to friends and parents. The Mobile Phone allows us to call you for urgencies, important communications and it is useful for brief sms in the case you need information or simply for continuing our correspondence also during your stay. Actually the mobile phone need to be periodically charged. Our guests are invited to leave at least the same credit they have found at the beginning of their stay. Using this simple gentleman agreement it will be possible to use the phone in any circumstance.We can’t charge the credit before the arrival of our guests. Anyway they will be able to do it following our simple instructions and the directions of the operator. For further details see the Guests Information Area. |

 | Who will give us the keys of the trullo? Is there someone who can help us? |

If you arrive to the Brindisi Airport or to the Brindisi railway station, Mr Franco, our trustable taxi driver will give you a personal welcome and will hand over the keys of the trullo. If you accepted the loan of use of the car he will bring you to the place where we keep our car parked. At the time of your arrival you will have received a link to the Guests Information Area containing maps and a brochure with all the detailed instructions about how to reach the trullo. You can even ask to Mr Franco to see you to the trullo (his taxi cab and your car in a row). This service may be interesting in the case you arrive quite late in the evening and particularly if you come from an Anglo-Saxon country: you may feel not immediately comfortable with the Italian rule to drive on the right and overtake on the left. Mr Fanco is charged to hand over the keys but his taxi-service is not included in the rental amount. |

At the end of our stay, where must we leave the keys? |

| Everything will be planned in advance: there is not a fixed rule. If Mr Franco handed over the keys at arrival and you are going to leave from the airport (or from the station) again, it is worth meeting him also for the departure. In general the place where you will leave the keys depends by the fact you have used or not our Fiat Panda. These are details you will find in the Guests Information Area once you have become a valuated guest. If you received the keys by the houskeeper she will probably pick up them on the day of your departure. Don't forget to leave a sign of your stay in the visitor note book! |

 | Is it safe to drink the water from the tap? |

| No, the water is not drinkable. The water spills from a profound artesian well we have built in our property. In almost all Apulia that's the only way to have fresh water. Many people drink this water but we highly recommend to drink only bottled mineral water. | ||
Is the place where the trullo is located a dangerous zone? |
|
|
| We don't think you will find any problem. South Italy is no more the reign of "briganti" or "mafia". You will surely find kindness and a warm welcome from the locals. All the area is spotted with similar trulli (trulli is the plural of trullo) and you will find probably many English speaking people: the success of Valle d'Itria is growing by the day. Many English families have decided to buy a trullo for their holidays, many other families from all other parts of Italy are doing this choice (as we did). Anyway for your passive defence there is an electronic alarm system and we have a contract with a private service which patrol periodically the territory. | ||
| How many people can room Trullo della Luna? | |

| The trullo is suitable up to six people. It is composed of four cones, under which there are: a main room under the main dome with a double sleep sofa, aside, separated by dry-stone arches, there are two "alcove": smaller vaulted rooms. From one side there is the kitchen and from the other a small room with a sleep sofa for two people and the stove (once the place of the "focarile", the ancient place where peasants were use to cook their poor meals). From the main room there is a short corridor, a bathroom and a bed room with a normal double bed. So the trullo is suitable for six people but of course you can't expect wide spaces as the shapes of the building are the original ones. | Is the trullo equipped for the cold seasons? | |

| The trullo is equipped with an air conditioning system to have constantly fresh and dry air during the warm seasons. The same equipment may be used to produce heat during the cold seasons. To improve this system there is a stove endowed with a window to enjoy the vision of the fire, which may reserve pleasant moments to spend around it. | ||
